It Started with a Kettle
Every great story begins with something small. Ours began with a brass kettle, a handful of cardamom pods, and a family that believed the best conversations happen over something warm.
The Sharma family has always gathered around tea. Not the hurried kind — the kind that simmers, that demands patience, that rewards you with aroma before taste. It was this ritual that planted the seed for what would become Sharma Cafe.
A Corner in Jaipur
We chose Jaipur not just because it's home — but because Jaipur understands hospitality. This city knows that a stranger at your table is just a friend you haven't met yet. Every lane has a story, and we wanted our cafe to become part of that tapestry.
Nestled at 89A, Krishna Nagar, Safdarjung Enclave, we opened our doors with a simple promise: honest food, good coffee, and a place where you can simply be.
The Philosophy
We don't chase trends. We don't do fusion for fusion's sake. Everything on our menu exists because someone in the family loved it, perfected it, and said: "People need to taste this."
Our filter coffee is brewed the way our grandmother taught us. Our sandwiches use bread from a local bakery we've known for years. Our desserts are recipes that have survived three generations of family gatherings.
This is not a concept cafe. This is a family cafe. And you're family now.
What We Believe
Slow is Beautiful
Good things take time. We don't rush your coffee, and we hope you don't rush your morning.
Honest Ingredients
No shortcuts. Fresh milk, real butter, hand-ground spices. You can taste the difference.
Everyone Belongs
Students, families, dreamers, workers — our tables don't discriminate. Pull up a chair.
